From Shangri-La towards Sichuan

Come with us discover this short but intense itinerary, which will make you forget the modern world and reach a wild altitude land in only a few days. Successive valleys, snow peaks with prayer flags on top, altitude passes and plateaus inhabited by yaks and a few farmers will take you to the confines of Yunnan and Sichuan.

Itinerary:

D1: we meet during the morning in Shangri-La, and then start trekking from a small temple. Overnight camping at 4000m.

D2: Cross over many passes (~4300m) and climb down into a large valley for the night (3600m).

D3: Cross over two passes and an altitude plateau (3900m) and arrive at the village of Niru.

D4: drive back to Shangri-La.
